Computer/Technical Troubleshooting

My computer isn't playing the videos smothly. What can I do?

There are several reasons this may be happening:

--your connection speed may not be as fast as initially thought

--you may have a shared computer and someone else is taking up alot of bandwidth

--there may be an issue with your computer or an issue with your connection.

--you could be multi-tasking on the internet which may be slowing down your connection

There are several things you can do if you are having problems with interrupted playback:

1 - ensure you are not downloading other files at the same time, as this will reduce the speed at which the video is downloaded

2 - if you're using a shared connection, make sure other users are not downloading large files.

3 - check the connections between your PC and Internet connection, and if using wireless, ensure you have a strong signal.

4 - before commencing playback, pause to allow more of the video to download. When you come back to the video the buffer will be filled and then you can press Play and enjoy your video smoothly--no matter how slow your home computer's connection! Great little trick! If the playback is catching up to the buffer, then allowing the video to download more before you start to watch will reduce the likelihood of the video being interrupted.

5-If you have ever had any peer-to-peer music or video sharing programs on your computer you may have malware on your computer as well. Have your computer checked for malware and if so, have it removed. Also defragment your computer and make sure your anti-virus software is up to date. All of these things will make for a better video experience and will also make your computer run more efficiently and quickly overall! Enjoy your videos!!

Can I hook my computer to my television to view videos there on my TV?

Yes you can! To attatch your laptop or PC to your television to view practices on your TV use an S-Cable. Only newer model electronics will support this feature. An S Cable can be purchased at any major electronics retailer.
