Different than a regular yoga class, Yoga Posture Tutorials are the place where you can learn about those postures that you want to know more about. Each video will cover 7-10 postures and each posture will be broken down into easy to understand steps with explanation for each adjustment that you are shown. This class offers in depth instruction in a wide variety of popular postures which will deepen your practice and enhance your enjoyment of any other class that involves these movements. This posture tutorial covers the following postures in depth and allows you to sink into them for longer holdings once you have a good grasp on the alignment: Knee Up Twists, Abdominals (learn how to Really do Alternate Elbow to Knee), Sun Salutations with specific Breath instruction (the key to linking Sun Salutations effortlessly and fluidly), Yoga Mudra Forward Fold, Warrior 1 and Warrior 2 (focusing on alignment and transitions between these often linked postures), Triangle and Twisted Triangle (Transitions and Alignment), Dolphin, and Shoulder-stand. You will finish class with new understandings of how your specific body feels best in each posture and apply it easily to your ongoing yoga practice! You are always growing in your practice!!! We recommend slower tempo music for this class. . . .
