Get wrung out, in a great way! Dive in with an intense workout, 60 minutes, #0712. You will move through centering and dive into class with Kabalabiti Breathwork, Twists and Foward Folds. As you get warmer you will move into a deeper twists with Thread the Needle and Balancing Thread the Needle. Work your lower body, open the hips and start to heat up from the inside out with One Legged Down Dogs, Down Dog with Fire Hydrant and Donkey to really heat up the body and get into the hip sockets in a safe and challenging way! You will play with balance and strength in Balancing Prayer Twist, extended Warriors, Pyramid, Twisted Triangles, Triangles and Standing Splits. Foward fold will transition you into Sun Breaths where you can breathe in all that you have experienced in your body so far. The next section of class opens the shoulders and upper back with Camel, Locust, Dolphin, One legged Dolphin, Yoga Mudra and then you will bring the lower and upper body work together in Warriors with Ostrich Arms. Class winds down with a beautiful Pigeon sequence--Sleeping Pigeon, King Pigeon, Upward Extending Pigeon and Mermaid if you feel ready! As class closes you will get another chance to do some breathwork now that your body is more receptive to the breath. Class ends with Plow, Shoulderstand moving into Bridge as you lower (fun!) and a wonderfully, fully deserved Savasana. Enjoy!
