Beginning with Sun Salutations A, moving into Suns B with Chair and Warriors and then into a sequence of Suns with Warrior 1, Warrior 2, Triangle, Airplane, Twisted Triangle and Runners Lunge. Then you will play with balance moving from Triangle into Balancing Half Moon and then folding into a well-deserved Hugging Foward Fold. After resting in Child you will transition into Rabbit for a wonderful opening in the middle and upper back. Moving onto the floor you will continue to flow through Wide Angle Fowardfold and into Wide Angle Side bends--rolling the heart open and getting a delicious stretch in the whole side body. Class winds down with Twists, Shoulderstand and Plow and ends with a beautiful poem by Rolf Gates from his book Meditations on the Mat.
